THE COMMONPLACE

It was good to live in that place.
My mother was in charge
Of everything, children, food,
Maintenance, clothing, cleaning.
My father was at work and
Never come back early.

It was good to live in that home
Where true love irradiate everywhere!
Because my mother, my father
My sisters and all the family
It was the happiest time of my life!

It was good to live in that home
It was a place of peace, a place of love
A place of joy; it really was our paradise!
But it is only now that I realize
After all these years that we were
Only living in a commonplace!
